Avalanche release preseason schedule for 2026-27 season
Preseason will look a little different for the Avalanche and the rest of the NHL next season, and now we know when it will start.
The Avalanche on Monday released their four-game preseason schedule for the 2026-27 season, when they will play home-and-home series against both the Utah Mammoth and Winnipeg Jets.
This is the first year under the new collective bargaining agreement where the NHL preseason will be shortened to just four games, as the Avalanche previously had played six games to warm up for the season. The regular season will be longer next year, with all teams playing 84 games. The regular season schedule will be released in the near future.
All four games can be heard on Altitude Sports Radio, 92.5 FM or 950 AM. All radio broadcasts can also be streamed on AltitudeSportsRadio.com or the Altitude Sports Radio App. Local and national television broadcast information will be announced at a later time.
