Denver weather: Another warm, clear, sunny day
The sun will be out and shining once again in Denver on Friday, but it may not last through the weekend.
The National Weather Service said to expect a high of 84 today, with “near-critical” fire danger. Expect moderate to light winds throughout the day.
The fire danger is due to the consistent warm temperatures, lack of humidity, and substantial winds. Forecasters warn that today is the most susceptible period before the weekend.
The weather service said to expect temperatures to cool back down through the weekend and for a wave of precipitation to greet the area on Sunday and Monday.
Forecasters predict accumulating snow in the mountains on Monday, but are still unsure how much the Denver metro area will receive.
Tonight, expect a low of around 53 with little change in the wind.
