Denver weather: Clouds and rain cover a cool spring day

Colorado weather just isn’t able to make up its mind.

The National Weather Service said to expect a high of 51 on Tuesday with a 30 percent chance of rain and cloudy skies.

For the early morning commuters, there is a freeze warning in effect through 8 am due to the overnight moisture and low temperatures.

The unsettled weather patterns are slated to continue through the week, according to the weather service. Chances of rain are forecasted every day through Friday.

What is rain in the plains and urban corridor could be snow in the mountains. The National Weather Service is expecting spats of snow to continue throughout the week at higher elevations.

The temperature will rise, however, despite the constant presence of precipitation. Expect highs in the mid-60s as the week goes along.

Tonight, expect a low of around 39 degrees and for the chances of rain to hover around 50 percent.
