Denver Weather: Rainy, cloudy Monday with a chance for snow this evening
A raincoat might be in the forecast for some folks today.
The National Weather Service in Boulder said that Denver residents should expect cloudy skies with sprinkles of rain showers throughout the day and a high of 45.
According to meteorologists, showers and a possible thunderstorm is likely before noon and 3:00 p.m. with breezy conditions in the afternoon.
Tonight, there will be a 40% chance for more showers with temperatures dipping and a potential freeze warning in place, which could bring some light snow with it, according to the National Weather Service.
Tonight, expect the low to dip to about 31 degrees, the weather service said.
More showers are expected throughout the week, with sunshine returning on Thursday and Friday, according to the weather service.
