First aid was rendered, but the suspect was pronounced dead at the scene.
The name, age and gender of the suspect will not be released until next of kin is notified, police said.
No officers were injured, police said.
The 13th Judicial District Attorney’s Office and the Colorado Bureau of Investigation are investigating and no comments will be made, police said.
