A hit-and-run crash killed a 70-year-old pedestrian on Monday night, the Glendale Police Department said.

The crash happened at South Cherry Street and South Leetsdale Drive just after 5:30 p.m.

A Median Alert was later issued for the suspect vehicle.

Police said the victim was crossing the street when they were hit and killed.

The vehicle is described as a white, four-door Hyundai or Nissan with a partial license plate of 118.

Police said the vehicle should have a broken windshield and front-end damage.
