Man killed in Westminster explosion identified

The Adams County coroner’s office identified the man killed in a home explosion in Westminster on Tuesday as 51-year-old Duane Cameron Doyle.

Cadaver dogs found Doyle’s remains on Tuesday afternoon while searching the wreckage from the blast in the 7700 block of Knox Court.

First responders were sent to the home just after 2:30 a.m. after reports of an explosion. One home was destroyed and two others were damaged by the blast.

Authorities are still investigating what caused the explosion.
