Paramount+ to bring ‘The Lodge’ experience to 2 Colorado mountain towns this winter
Online streaming service provider Paramount+ is bringing a pop-up experience, “The Lodge,” to Winter Park on Feb. 2-4, and to Steamboat Springs on March 22-24.
The Lodge is a “vibrant slope-side hub” that combines the fun of a mountain lodge with immersive, interactive experiences based on both new and classic content that is currently on the streaming platform, a spokesperson with Paramount+ said.
The Lodge will consist of themed activation spaces from titles including “Lawmen: Bass Reeves,” “Halo,” “Frasier,” “Survivor,” “Mean Girls,” “Star Trek: Discovery,” as well as kids’ favorites from Nickelodeon: “Dora the Explorer,” “SpongeBob Squarepants,” and “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.”
Fans and newcomers alike can sip custom cocktails and check out authentic team paraphernalia at the CBS Sports ‘Fanatic Fizz’ Bar, and discover a tribute to the art of filmmaking in the ‘Paramount Presents’ theater. Kids can enjoy the ‘Frosty Nick Zone,’ where they can adventure through a winter fort and step into their favorite Nickelodeon cartoon stories.

In addition to exploring the titles on Paramount+, attendees will be dropped into the world of CBS Sports at The Paramount+ Pub. Attendees will able to play various games such as the hook and ring toss, and participate in a UEFA Champions League themed soccer ball kicking challenge— all while sipping on sports-inspired cocktails. The sports-themed bar will also showcase locker displays with fan-favorite jerseys, cleats, balls and team paraphernalia.
Other experiences include:
“Halo”
Like the characters in Paramount+’s newest sci-fi series “Halo,” based off the popular video game, visitors will start off the experience with discovering a mysterious glowing relic.
Guests will be able to view and interact with other costumes and props from the series, and they’ll also receive Halo-branded goggle socks on their way out.
“Lawman: Bass Reeves”
Attendees will be able to saddle up (literally) to this engaging and historic activation to see if they have what it takes to join Bass Reeves on the right side of the law. Surrounded by a bespoke set inspired by the show’s key art and featuring Easter eggs, attendees will find themselves inside the Wild West.
Once they’re in their saddles, they will be timed for 30 to 60 seconds to see if they can rope an object with a larger-than-life “lasso” ring. All participants leave with a U.S. Deputy Marshal badge etched with the show and Paramount+ logos.
“Ghosts”
Paramount+ welcomes guests to the Woodstone Bed & Breakfast from “Ghosts,” where some much needed rest and relaxation is sure to make them feel “alive” again. Visitors can head over to the stone threshold of the B&B and straight into an immersive AI-powered photo op.
Guests will pass the wall of hotel keys and strike a pose in the infinity hallway; a social video will feature moving appearances from all eight ghosts. After “meeting” the characters, guests will continue to receive airdrop messages from the beyond.
Paramount Presents Theater
“Paramount Presents” is not just a theater; it’s a living tribute to the art of filmmaking. The immersive experience will honor the legacy of Paramount Pictures, inviting attendees to relive the magic of the silver screen in a setting designed to transport them to the golden age of cinema.

CBS Sports ‘Fanatic Fizz Bar’
Sports fans and true “fanatics” will be able to explore the splendor of the CBS Sports streaming portfolio in The Lodge’s Fanatic Fizz Bar. Guests can play games while they sip on an Azalea cocktail (the unofficial drink of The Masters) and explore professional-grade locker displays, merched out with their favorite authentic jerseys, cleats, balls and team paraphernalia.
Nickelodeon’s ‘Frosty Nick Zone’
Designed as a winterized fort, this experience features popular characters, photo ops and other Nick-filled surprise. Guests can take a photo with Dora and others in the orange gondola as they “soar” above the peak; enter a slime portal; hang at the lockers with the iconic Ninja Turtles or even take a seat in the life-sized Krusty Krab boat from “SpongeBob SquarePants” for a unique selfie moment.
Tickets are free; reservations are currently open for the Winter Park experience. Click or tap here for more information.
