Severe weather on Longs Peak could impact the search, as below freezing temperatures with strong wind, sleet, and snow will be present throughout much of the weekend.
Longs Peak is one of Colorado’s more dangerous fourteen-thousand foot peaks, with narrow sections of rock scrambling resulting in high exposure and fall risks.
If anyone has been in the Longs Peak area that may have been in contact with Albert, they’re encouraged to call authorities at 970-586-1204.
