According to Summit County Search and Rescue, an inbounds avalanche was reported to have occurred at Breckenridge at 12:39 PM on Friday. It occurred on terrain serviced by Imperial Express Superchair. There were no injuries.

Imperial Express Superchair is the highest chairlift in North America, reaching a maximum altitude of 12,840 feet. Terrain reaching a maximum altitude of 12,998 feet is accessible from the lift.
