[VIDEO] Popular Denver nightclub shuttered ‘indefinitely’ for social distancing violations
It can be difficult to operate a nightclub in a world where social distancing guidelines have the upper hand, as one popular Denver spot found out this week.
Beta Nightclub, located in the LoDo area of Denver, has been shut down indefinitely for repeatedly failing to follow rules created by the city’s ‘Safer-at-home” order. A video has recently surfaced showing patrons of the club failing to abide by mask wearing and social distancing guidelines. In the video, several groups of patrons can be seen dancing together.
An “Order to Vacate” was posted on the building, barring anyone from entering.
According to a report from FOX31, the night club claims to have stayed under the 100 person limit on the night of June 20th, also requiring temperature checks for patrons. They also claim to have turned 700 patrons away.
