SNOW TOTALS: 38 inches of snow hits Colorado town with more on the way

Big snow has slammed into Colorado’s Central Mountains and Front Range region, already dropping more than three feet of powder in some areas with more on the way.

As more snow is expected to fall throughout the day on Thursday into the night, the areas getting hit the hardest so far include the Central Mountains and Front Range. Travel is very difficult along the I-25 corridor, I-70, and in the Front Range foothills.

Here’s a look at what spots have gotten the most snow so far, according to the National Weather Service. Keep in mind that these reports are made on a rolling basis and may be updated throughout the day. It’s also worth noting that reports are only made in places where a station exists, meaning many remote backcountry spots tend to get skipped:
