Another round of springtime snow setting up to hit Colorado mountains

More snow is set to fall in Colorado, with the statewide snowpack sitting at about 107 percent of the norm for the date.

Mapping from the National Weather Service shows that up to six inches of snow could fall on most central and northern mountain peaks through Wednesday morning, with the high-end totals ending up at about a foot.

Major issues related to the snowfall are not anticipated, though this will mean more fresh snow in the high country, which can contribute to outdoor recreation risk.
