As Veterans Day nears, local restaurants are honoring servicemen and servicewomen for their service and sacrifice.

The following restaurant deals, discounts and freebies can be redeemed by veterans and active-duty military members who show a valid military ID or proof of U.S. military service.

Here’s a look at which restaurants around Colorado Springs are participating on Nov. 11:

Lazy Dog

On Veterans Day, Lazy Dog is celebrating veterans and active duty with a free entrée. They will also be extending their weekend brunch hours in honor of the holiday. Head to 7605 North Academy Boulevard to dine in with Lazy Dog.

Starbucks

Starbucks is offering a free 12-ounce hot or iced coffee for veterans, service members and military spouses on Veterans Day. Head to any location around Colorado Springs to redeem this deal.

Arby’s

Veterans and active-duty military can head to any participating Arby’s locations to receive a free Classic Roast Beef Sandwich on Nov. 11. This deal must be redeemed in store. No purchase is necessary.

Ziggi’s Coffee

Ziggi’s is honoring veterans and active-duty military with a free 16-ounce beverage of choice on Veterans Day. Head to one of the few Ziggi’s locations around Colorado Springs to redeem this special offer.

BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse

Current and former military members can receive a free Chocolate Chunk Pizookie on Veterans Day. This offer is dine-in only and does not require a minimum food purchase. Head to 5150 North Nevada Avenue to dine at BJ’s.

Applebee’s

For the 17th year in a row, Applebee’s is offering a free entrée from a special menu for veterans and active-duty members on Veterans Day. Head to one of the three Applebee’s locations around Colorado Springs to redeem this deal.

Golden Corral

Golden Corral is offering a free dine-in meal to any former or active military member on Veterans Day. They also have their annual Military Appreciation Night on Nov. 11 from 4 p.m. to close. Head to 1970 Waynoka Road to receive your meal.

Chili’s

All veterans and active-duty military members can receive a free entrée at participating Chili’s locations. This offer is only available for dine-in from a limited menu. Head to one of the four Chili’s locations around Colorado Springs to redeem this deal.

IHOP

IHOP is offering a free Red, White & Blueberry Pancake Combo on Veterans Day for veterans and active-duty military. This deal is dine-in only at participating restaurants. Head to any IHOP location around the city to take advantage of this deal.

Red Robin

Current and former military members can dine in at Red Robin on Veterans Day and receive a free Red’s Big Tavern Burger. The burger is also served with Bottomless Steak Fries. There are three Red Robin locations to choose from in Colorado Springs to redeem this deal.

Whataburger

This Veterans Day Whataburger is offering veterans and active-duty military members a free 16-ounce hot or iced coffee. Head to one of six Whataburger locations around Colorado Springs, all of which are open 24 hours, to redeem this deal.
