A fast food restaurant just opened at Red Rocks – and it’s one that’s Denver-born

Concertgoers seeing a show at Colorado’s iconic Red Rocks Amphitheatre just got another dining option – and its fast food.

According to an April 24 press release, Denver-born Birdcall’s newest location is now serving during Red Rocks events from near the venue’s south entrance ramp.

The restaurant’s Red Rocks menu is curated to include fan favorites, focused on chicken meals, sandwiches, and tots. Two favorites include the spicy Nashville Hot Sandwich and the Loaded Tots, topped with queso, bacon, and jalapeños. A vegetarian option is also available.

“We’re beyond thrilled to be joining and supporting the experience at Red Rocks – a venue that’s not only iconic in Colorado but world-renowned for its beauty and energy,” said Birdcall CEO Mark Lohmann. “Our mission has always been to deliver high-quality food with heart, and there’s no better place to do that than at one of the greatest music venues on the planet.”

Birdcall got its start in the historic Five Points neighborhood of Denver in 2016, having since expanded to 10 locations in Colorado, along with three in Arizona and two in Texas. A Centennial location is coming soon, too.

As far as fast food goes, Birdcall maintains a relatively high rating on Yelp, with most locations having a rating above 4 stars. Reviewers of the restaurants seem to love the sandwiches, making statements like “you cannot go wrong with getting Birdcall” and “the food was delicious and customer service was phenomenal.”

Birdcall joins a long list of other dining spots at Red Rocks, including Anthony’s Pizza, Machete Tequila and Tacos, Greek Gyros, Maui Wowi, Rolling Smoke BBQ, Wyly’s Fried Foods, and Ship Rock Grille.

“Birdcall is a perfect addition to the Red Rocks culinary lineup,” said Red Rocks spokesman Brian Kitts. “The sandwiches and tots are going to wow fans every night and we’re proud to welcome Birdcall, a great local company, to the venue.”
