Walking ‘ghost tour’ of spooky Colorado park returns
A spooky ghost tour of Denver’s notoriously ‘haunted’ Cheesman Park is returning for the spooky season.
Denver Local Tours’ Cheesman Park Ghost Tour will take place starting on Oct. 6, and costs $25 for adults and $15 for teens. The tour consists of a one mile walk around the park and takes 1.5 hours.
Guests are sure to discover the “spooky secrets” of what was once Denver’s first city cemetery on this tour. During the tour, participants will learn the eerie history of the park, including the scary stories and “hair raising first accounts of paranormal activity.”
Visitors will also learn the spine-chilling and disturbing story of the process used to remove the bodies from the cemetery, and “determine for yourself if the park is truly haunted.”
“One thing’s for sure, these stories will send you looking over your shoulder as you make you way home!” the Denver Local Tours website reads.
