It’s official! The Savannah Bananas are coming back to Colorado in 2026

Often referred to as something like the Harlem Globetrotters of baseball, the hugely-popular Savannah Bananas are set to come back to Coors Field in 2026.

After selling out Coors Field two days in a row last August, the Bananas are set to make their return to Denver on August 14 and 15 of 2026, and this time, they’ll be duking it out against one of two new teams recently added to their league – the Indianapolis Clowns.

The Savannah Bananas are known for putting on a much-hyped performance that’s a mix of athletics and entertainment, with the rules of baseball tweaked to allow for a faster-paced game. Music blasts in the background throughout the game and sideshow contests are ample. There’s never a boring moment while watching Banana Ball, with the games being a blast for families, die-hard fans of baseball, and everyone in between.

Savannah Bananas games are so popular that the team uses a lottery system to deal out tickets. Signing up for a chance to purchase tickets is as simple as submitting some information online, with the lottery system for next season’s games set to close on October 31, 2025. Those who win the opportunity to buy tickets are announced at a later date.

The Savannah Bananas got their start in 2016, built around putting on a show that features comedic sketches, fan participation, and showmanship. Whether you’re a baseball fan or not, this is an event you won’t want to miss.
