Tickets on sale for fest that hosts ‘world’s largest naked ski lap’ in Colorado

The date has been set for the 6th annual ‘Boot Tan Fest,’ set to take place at Sunlight Mountain Resort near Glenwood Springs next spring.

The popular event is billed as an “empowering, safe, and wildly fun space where women and nonbinary folks come together to celebrate their love for the mountains,” and this ski season, it will take place over three days from April 10 through April 12.

While the full schedule for this year’s Boot Tan Fest hasn’t been released quite yet, the website does note that the ‘world’s largest and now private naked ski lap’ will be taking place. Generally, the event also includes live music, a vendor village, camping, and of course, plenty of skiing and snowboarding.

As far as the ‘naked ski lap’ goes, participation is totally optional. Per the website, no men are allowed at the event, including during the naked ski lap.

“Plain and simple, we welcome and celebrate women and gender-nonconforming folks,” reads the event’s website. “Not sure what that means? Nonbinary folks and trans women, no matter how you express your gender–femme, masc, somewhere, or everywhere in between–this festival is for you. It’s a place to come together, shred, and build camaraderie among people who see you, support you, and are committed to creating a safe space for you.”

An all-access pass for the event is currently priced at $200. Prices go up on December 1.
