Widespread snow this weekend in Colorado – here’s where to expect it and how much will land
Another round of snow is expected to hit Colorado this weekend, likely to be widespread in the mountain region. That said, don’t expect big totals quite yet – though accumulation could still impact outdoor recreation.
Per reporting from the National Weather Service, the northern mountains should get hit the hardest through Monday morning, though this region is still only expected to get about one to six inches in the most likely scenario. If the ‘high-end’ snowfall scenario occurs, which has a 10% chance, a larger swath of the state’s mountain region could see snow in the four-to-six-inch range, with some select peaks getting up to eight inches.
