11-year-old girl missing from area near Denver metro wildlife refuge

The Denver Police Department has issued a press release related to missing 11-year-old girl Ava Long.

Long has been missing since October 25 from the 6100 Block of Ceylon Street, which is located about 1.5 miles southeast of the Rocky Mountain Arsenal National Wildlife Refuge.

Ava is described as four-foot-ten and 75 pounds and white, with brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a white shirt and blue jeans.

Anyone with information related to the case has been asked to contact the police department at 720-913-2000.
