Colorado resort offering $2,499 pass upgrade that includes priority lift access, ‘Early Ups,’ and reserved parking
A major Colorado resort is set to offer a new type of pass upgrade for the upcoming season, aimed at making it easier for guests to spend more time carving down the mountain.
The pass, dubbed the ‘Reserve’ pass, has launched at Winter Park Resort – a season-long upgrade that includes premium lift lane access, early lift access, and premium parking. It’s available as an upgrade for both Ikon Pass holders or those who have purchased a Winter Park season pass. While Ikon Pass holders can take advantage of the upgrade, benefits are only valid at Winter Park.
Two tiers of the pass are being offered – a basic ‘Reserve Pass‘ that includes priority lift access and ‘Early Ups‘ for $999 and the ‘Reserve Pass with Parking‘ that tacks on the benefit of reserved, covered parking that’s about a minute walk from the Gondola for $2,499.
Per a spokesperson from Winter Park Resort, the ‘Reserve’ passes will be sold in “very limited quantities, with active management to ensure the Winter Park experience remains fantastic for everyone.” According to the website, priority line access starts on December 15, with priority parking available at the start of the season.
It’s also worth noting that those who want to take advantage of the ‘Early Ups’ option but not the other benefits can check out the specific ‘Early Ups’ upgrade. This allows access to some lifts 30 minutes early, starting at 8:30 a.m. on weekdays and 8 a.m. on weekends. The full season ‘Early Ups’ add-on is priced at $249 and it can also be purchased for single days at $29 on most dates or $39 during holidays.
Winter Park Resort is set to open for the season on October 31 at 1 p.m.
