New images show just how much damage the SUV that plowed into King Soopers did

In case you missed it, the driver of a Rivian SUV ended up punching a hole in the side of a Colorado Springs King Soopers on Tuesday afternoon, resulting in six injuries as the vehicle traveled into the store in the area of the checkout lanes (read more about the incident here).

A day after the incident, the Colorado Springs Fire Department published several additional photos from the scene, capturing just how extensive the damage was. Despite the damage, the Colorado Springs Gazette reports that the store will reopen on Thursday.
