“Suspicious male” accused of following young girls and moms with baby strollers on trail in Colorado
On November 5, the Lakewood Police Department asked the public for help in identifying a “suspicious male” who was allegedly following females on a local trail. Hours later, the suspect was identified.
According to the initial post, the male was seen in the area of Bear Creek Apartments, Bear Creek High School, and other surrounding areas, accused to being involved in an ongoing issue related to following female visitors and residents on Bear Creek Trail. The suspect was allegedly targeting high school-aged girls, as well as mothers with baby strollers.
Two reported incidents took place on October 4 and November 4, with the police department alerting the public of the potential safety concern and asking for help in identifying the suspect in the case. Hours later, the department reported that the suspect had been identified, also thanking the public for their assistance.
All suspects are to be considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law and all mentions of crime are merely accusations.
