Assault at Red Rocks concert leaves victim with broken facial bones and fractured leg

The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is working to identify a felony assault suspect following an incident that took place at Red Rocks Amphitheatre during the Martin Garrix concert on October 22.

According to a report from the law enforcement agency, the alleged assault occurred after a disagreement in the general admission seating area’s row 24. The victim in the case is said to have suffered multiple broken facial bones and a fractured leg as a result of the incident.

The sheriff’s office released video footage of a group the suspect is believed to be associated with, as well as several images from the venue. Thus far, the suspect has been described as an Asian or Pacific Islander adult male, roughly five-foot-nine and 180 pounds. The sheriff’s office also noted that the suspect was wearing a striped button-up shirt at the time.

The sheriff’s office is looking for eyewitnesses of the incident.

“If you were in that area, or know someone who was, your information could make the difference,” wrote the sheriff’s office.

Anyone with information in the case can call the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office tip line at 303-271-5612.

All suspects are to be considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. All alleged crimes are merely accusations.
