Search underway for missing 19-year-old old in Pitkin County
A search is underway for a missing 19-year-old male in Pitkin County, with the male last seen near Woody Creek Plaza on the morning of December 3.
The male, identified as Stephen Bull, is described as six-foot-one and 180 pounds. Bull is white with brown hair and brown eyes.
Woody Creek Plaza is the main downtown stretch in the 290-person unincorporated town of Woody Creek, which is located about seven miles northwest of Aspen down Highway 82.
The public has been asked not to approach Bull if he is seen, but to instead call 911. According to law enforcement, he may be armed.
Residents and businesses in the surrounding area have been asked to remain alert and to report anything suspicious or out of place to a dedicated tipline at 970-716-4160. Authorities noted that this includes unusual behavior around properties, outbuildings, and vehicles.
“We are asking our community to stay vigilant and help by reporting anything that seems unusual,” Sheriff Micheal Buglione said. “Our team is working diligently with Mountain Rescue Aspen to bring this situation to a safe resolution. Please do not attempt to contact the individual”
