The ‘friendliest’ neighborhood in Denver is also one of metro’s ‘most affordable’

When it comes to picking a place to call home, what more can you ask for than friendliness and affordability? According to Nextdoor, a certain Denver metro neighborhood offers both of those attributes, known for its peaceful and family-friendly atmosphere, clean parks, and diverse community feel.

Nextdoor’s ranking of the 20 ‘friendliest’ neighborhoods in the Denver metro highlights familiar spots like Congress Park, Sunnyside, and Montbello, but another location landed on top of the list – Green Valley Ranch.

Located to the east of the city, near Denver International Airport, Green Valley Ranch scores a perfect 100 with Nextdoor in terms of friendliness and a 98 in terms of affordability when compared to other places in the area. With an average resident age of 44 and the average incoming being $72,000, 81 percent of residents are homeowners that are quite literally invested in the local community.

This part of town is also known for offering an escape from the chaos of living life in a major metropolitan area, while still keeping amenities of Denver within grasp. Plus, it’s near the state’s largest airport, which can be a major incentive for frequent flyers.
