The New Year is almost upon us, and the Mile High City has plenty of great events to celebrate. From fireworks shows and stunning lights displays to unique museum exhibitions and arts shows, Denver has a New Year’s Eve event for everyone.

Here are some great events happening around Denver on New Year’s Eve:

1. New Year’s Eve Fireworks over downtown

Denver has been ringing in the new year with a fireworks display over downtown for more than two decades. There will be two free shows at 9 p.m. and midnight from two rooftop locations. According to Visit Denver, the best location to see the shows in from 16th Street.

2. New Year’s Eve at The Mile High Tree Presented by Xcel Energy & Xfinity

The Mile High Tree will be hosting a ball drop-style countdown at 9 p.m. to celebrate the New Year.

3. Decadence NYE

This two night event is an electronic New Year’s celebration held at the Colorado Convention Center that will include world-class performances, immersive art, and state-of-the-art production.

4. Denver NYE Cocktail Party

This New Year’s Eve party will take place at the Sheraton Denver Downtown Hotel, and this year it features a chic, apres-ski-style outdoor patio with fire pits, warm drinks, and s’mores. The patio provides a great view of the 16th Street fireworks. Tickets include a 5.5 hour open bar, and guests can also enjoy entertainment across venues in the hotel, including music from the Henderson Family Band and DJs. There will also be casino gaming, photo booths, party favors, and a confetti celebration.

5. Gatsby’s White Rose Gala

Located at The Ritz-Carlton Denver, this party will have a Roaring 20’s theme with a live band, DJs, and dramatic performances.

6. 10th Annual New Year’s Eve Celebration at Nocturne

Nocturne’s New Year’s Eve dinners will include champagne, cocktails, and “delectable plates.” Two dinner seatings will be offered.

7. New Year’s Eve in the Great Hall

Celebrate New Year’s Eve at Denver Union Station with a live DJ in the Great Hall.

8. 2026 Denver All Access New Years Eve (NYE) Bar Crawl

This bar crawl will feature dance parties, DJs, live bands, midnight champagne cheers and more.

9. FIRE & ICE New Year’s Eve Bash

This New Year’s Eve party will be held on the outdoor rooftop patio at FIRE Restaurant inside the ART Hotel Denver. There will be a 360-degree photo booth and ice carving display, among great skyline views.

10. 2025 Tricia & Chill NYE

Western Sky Bar and Taproom ;is hosting the “chillest NYE celebration in town,” where guests can weather pajamas, play board games, and “avoid the madness.” The highlight will be a 2025 Trivia games where all the questions will be about the past year.
