Snow totals reach up to 24 inches on some Colorado peaks

With the recent storm that finally brought snow to Colorado, snowfall totals have reached up to 24 inches, with the highest totals falling on peaks in Colorado’s northern central mountain ranges.

Peaks in central Colorado saw the most snow, with totals falling between six and 24 inches. The Sawatch Mountain Range saw significant snowfall, with totals up to 18 inches of snow.

The south central mountains also saw significant snowfall with totals reaching up to 12 inches.

Meanwhile, most of Denver only accumulated about 0-2 inches of snow.

Elsewhere, several Colorado ski resorts have reported new snow. Winter Park Ski Resort reported 12 inches of new snow today. Copper Mountain reported six inches of snow overnight, with Eldora reporting seven inches.
