Red Rocks’ first show of 2026 moved to smaller venue and later date
Red Rocks Amphitheatre’s first scheduled show of the 2026 season won’t be taking place – at least not at the same venue, nor on the same date.
According to an announcement from Red Rocks Amphitheatre, the February 7 show – Icelantic’s Winter on the Rocks featuring BigXthaPlug, Smino, Mick Jenkins, & PawPaw Rod – that was originally set to take place at Red Rocks has been moved to Denver’s Mission Ballroom, rescheduled for February 20. Per Red Rocks, all previously purchased tickets will be honored for the new show time and location. Anyone who purchased a ticket for when the show was scheduled to take place at Red Rocks can expect to get an email with more information.
The show is still set to feature the same four artists, though as might be expected the ‘on the rocks’ branding has been removed from the event. The show is now being billed as ‘Icelantic’s Winter Mission.’ Tickets start at $90.
The reason for the move was not detailed in the announcement. Mission Ballroom’s capacity is significantly smaller than that of Red Rocks – a maximum of 3,950 concertgoers to Red Rocks’ 9,525.
Find additional information about Icelantic’s Winter Mission show here. The namesake behind the show is a winter gear company known for their skis that’s based in Golden, Colorado.
