A woman was arrested in Colorado ski country after an altercation with her romantic partner resulted in charges of domestic violence and harassment.

According to a report from the Summit County Sheriff’s Office, the situation started to unfold in the area of Copper Mountain involving a couple who had been arguing on-and-off throughout the day. The couple then started driving eastbound on I-70 and the conflict escalated, culminating with the woman allegedly throwing the man’s phone out of the window of their vehicle.

Eventually, the couple made it to Loveland Ski Area, with law enforcement dispatched to respond to the scene. After investigation by deputies, the woman was arrested for domestic violence and harassment and taken to the Summit County Detention Facility without further incident.

All charges are to be considered accusations and all parties involved are to be considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
