CPW’s big-game draw deadline approaches
Colorado Parks and Wildlife (CPW) is reminding hunters that the deadline to submit a big-game draw application in the primary draw is quickly approaching. Hunters must submit applications by April 7 at 8 p.m. to be eligible to participate.
CPW encourages hunters to review their receipts if they have already submitted applications to ensure it was submitted correctly. Corrections are allowed up to the April 7 deadline. CPW also encourages hunters to submit their applications early to avoid complications or delays.
Hunters can check out CPW’s Big Game Application Guide for help through the application process. The 2026 Big Game brochure includes information including hunt codes, regulations, and a “What’s New” section explaining recent changes. Hunters can also view CPW’s hunting statistics for information from previous draws to maximize their draw potential.
Call center agents are available Monday – Friday from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. at 303-297-1192 to answer questions about setting up accounts, planning hunts, or applying for licenses.
