New website tracks live music at bars, breweries, and more around Colorado

I was browsing Reddit recently when I came across a user promoting a new website they’d put together – one that’s designed to track live music performances around the state of Colorado. It’s called Colorado Bar Music and for people looking for something to do, it seems like a resource worth bookmarking.

While the main page of the website features a running list by date, the search tool makes it easy to track down events in specific towns, too. Clicking into any event takes the user to the event page hosted by the related business for additional information.

Per the Redditor’s post, a goal of this event calendar is to highlight events taking place at smaller venues, like bars and breweries – not just those at major venues and ticketed shows.

As noted by the website’s creator, “It’s definitely not perfect.” Some events pull into the list incorrectly and a few non-music events get added. These quirks don’t keep the website from being one that’s helpful when it comes down to finding something to do.

Check out the Colorado Bar Music website here.

Anyone with helpful feedback can respond to the original post on Reddit or directly on the website.
