Here are the 5 best Denver hotels, according to Travel + Leisure

Travel + Leisure recently released their list of Readers’ 5 favorite hotels in Denver of 2025 as part of Travel + Leisure’s World’s Best Awards.

The results include “personality-filled boutique properties and a historic icon in the Mile High City.” According to Travel + Leisure, Denver’s hotels include “innovative design, diverse culinary experiences, and convenient locations of the best hotels in Denver.”

Each year, Travel + Leisure asks readers to participate in the World’s Best Awards survey and share their thoughts on the world’s top hotels, resorts, cities, islands, cruise ships, spas, airlines, and more. Almost 180,000 readers participated in the 2025 survey, with more than 657,000 votes cast across over 8,700 properties. Survey respondents rated hotels on the categories of rooms/facilities, location, service, food, and value.

Limelight Denver took first place as Travel + Leisure readers’ favorite Denver hotel. Travel + Leisure writes that Limelight Denver received the award due to its “fabulous restaurant and excellent service,” as well as its central location in the heart of the city’s LoDo neighborhood, which is within walking distance of Coors Field. Guests can enjoy in-room spa services, and each room features plush bathrobes and locally-sourced snacks and beverages.

The Maven Hotel took second place. The Maven is a boutique hotel located at the Dairy Block in Denver’s LoDo neighborhood,  offering 172 modern guest rooms and a 2,300 square foot event space, plus, it’s decorated with more than 700 original paintings, sculptures, and photographs created by Colorado artists. The hotel has also recently added several new amenity add-ons. Guests can now order a ready-to-go picnic basket from Denver Milk Market, a luxurious spa gift basket, or enjoy a curated tasting experience from Dairy Block’s Seven Grand.

Hotel Clio ranked third among Travel + Leisure’s readers’ favorite hotels in Denver. Set in Denver’s shopping district of Cherry Creek North, the hotel is mere steps away from the area’s retail, local coffee shops, fine art galleries, and boutique stores. Guests can dine at the Toro Latin Kitchen & Lounge restaurant and enjoy the hotel’s other amenities like the 24-hour fitness center, walking, biking, and running trail recommendations, and two complimentary passes to their choice of Denver Zoo, Denver Botanic Gardens, or Denver Museum of Nature and Science.

The last two hotels that made Travel + Leisure’s list of the best in the Mile High City are The Brown Palace Hotel and Spa, Autograph Collection, and the Four Seasons Hotel Denver. According to Travel + Leisure, the Brown Palace is famous for its eight-story atrium lobby that has a stained-glass skylight and its afternoon tea. The Four Seasons offers a great opportunity and location to go to a variety of sporting events and concerts across Denver or head to he mountains. Guests can also enjoy the hotel’s luxurious spa, and even adjust to the altitude with its Signature Altitude Massage.
