Man dies after falling from balcony in Dillon
A man died after falling from an elevated balcony in Dillon on Saturday night.
Police said they responded to the call at around 8:12 p.m. on Saturday, according to an X post from the Dillon Keystone Police Department. When officers arrived, they found an adult male in a grassy area, unresponsive and not breathing.
Despite responders performing immediate lifesaving efforts, the man died of his injuries.
According to the initial investigation, the man suffered fatal injuries when he fell from the elevated balcony, but the circumstances leading up to the fall are still under investigation.
The Summit County Coroner’s Office will release the decedent’s identity.
