Colorado ski area offers $39 lift ticket deal to close out season

Ski season is far from over in Colorado – at least for one of the state’s highest elevation central mountain resorts.

With Arapahoe Basin known for stretching the season into July during some particularly snowy years, it’s a safe bet they’ll stay open at least through the end of the month. And those looking to hit the slopes at the Summit County ski area will be able to take advantage of a great deal and catch some perfect spring skiing vibes.

The Friday Afternoon Club is back, with the resort offering $39 lift tickets for two hours of skiing or snowboarding between 2 and 4 p.m. on each Friday of May. Plus, there will be beer and appetizer specials to be found at the base area 6th Alley Bar & Grill after the lifts stop spinning for the day.

Tickets for Friday Afternoon Club must be purchased online and in-advance, to be picked up at the ticket window or kiosks in the base area on the day of use.

Looking ahead, these tickets will be available May 17, May 24, and May 31. If the resort’s season ends up stretching into June, there may be a few more Fridays with deals, too.

Those taking advantage of the deal should know to expect spring skiing conditions. At time of publishing, 114 of the resorts 144 runs remain open. It’s also worth noting that spring skiing might include an opportunity to hit Lake Reveal, a naturally occurring pond at Arapahoe Basin that attracts pond skimmers late in the season.

Learn more about this deal here.

It’s also worth noting that full day lift tickets are discounted on the Arapahoe Basin website, too, with some weekday tickets priced as low as $64.
