As part of a continued effort “to prioritize the health and safety of […] staff, athletes, and fans” during the COVID-19 pandemic, Dew Tour has announced that the Winter Dew Tour will be postponed until the next winter season.

A four-day event that attracts some of the best snowsport athletes in the world, the 2020 Dew Tour was held at Colorado’s Copper Mountain in early February.

According to Dew Tour officials, the pandemic has limited their ability to operate large events safely, though they hope to continue operations as soon as possible when it is responsible to do so.

The 2020 Winter Dew Tour was the first one to take place at Colorado’s Copper Mountain. In recent previous years, the event took place at another Summit County destination – Breckenridge.

Dew Tour has seen disruptions in their event programming since start of the pandemic, which also forced them to move their skateboard competition and festival that’s held in Long Beach to 2021.
