What: The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers – In Concert
Venture off your couch and into Middle-earth with this stunning, live performance with the Colorado Symphony, Colorado Symphony Chorus, and soloists as they bring to life the iconic score of Howard Shore. Watch the movie on screen as the live music from the symphony whisks you away to Fangorn Forest, Helm’s Deep and Isengard.

What: Denver Summit FC Inaugural Match Watch Party
Don’t want to go into the stadium to enjoy the game? Get your friends together to watch the Inaugural Summit FC Match at McGregor Square on its 66-foot LED Jumbotron. What: Inaugural Summit FC match
Colorado’s new National Women’s Soccer League team, the Denver Summit FC, is celebrating its home opening match in Empower Field at Mile High as it faces off against the Washington Spirit. A halftime performance by Big Gigantic, an electro-funk duo based out of Denver, is sure to keep the party going all afternoon.

What: Frozen Dead Guy Days
Colorado’s weirdest festival comes alive for a festival that celebrates Grandpa Bredo’s 30 years of living on ice. The festival celebrates Grandpa Bredo Morstoel, who died of a heart condition in 1989, where instead of burial, he chose to be packed in dry ice and flown to Nederland in 1993 to be with his family. His body is a testament to the science of cryonics and the festival, along with a Coffin Race, is equal parts celebration, spectacle and competition.

What: Flexi-Verse: Elemental Journey Yoga at Meowwolf
