THURSDAY
Telluride Bluegrass Festival
What: Groove to the music in the mountains and get outside the city for one of the best concert series in Colorado. The Telluride Bluegrass Festival brings the all-American of acoustic guitars and high-lonesome harmonies to the San Luis Mountains. This year’s lineup features performances by Gregory Alan Isakov and the Tedeschi Trucks Band. The perfect place to frolic and dance like a hippy, in the most magical mountain town, you can’t go wrong whether you decide to make it a luxury stay or rough it in the backcountry and camp.

Butterfly Pavilion’s Adult Pride Night
What: Celebrate love, laughter, acceptance and pride at this kid-free, exclusive Pride Night at the Butterfly Pavilion. The event will feature colorful drag performances that would even make a butterfly jealous, and close-up animal encounters with snails, butterflies, centipedes, beetles, spiders, and more. There will also be community booths & pride merch for sale, an opportunity to connect with local LGBTQ+ organizations, a mocktail cart with refreshing sips, DJ set and live music, as well as food trucks and a selfie station. The Butterfly Pavilion encourages guests to show up dressed in their most impressive and colorful Pride gear.

FRIDAY
Evergreen Rodeo
What: Hold your horses for a mid-summer rodeo that features all the classic rodeo traditions. Starting with live music on Friday night and a full weekend of buckin’ broncos and mutton bustin’ from pint-sized cowboys and cowgirls that’ll ride those sheep like they stole em’. Saturday features a parade and a stick horse trail ride through the town of Evergreen. Don’t forget to head to the rodeo early for all the “fair festivities” like vendor booths, food trucks and a mechanical bull, so you can test your ego to see if you can withstand the longest 8 seconds of your life.

Juneteenth Music Festival
What: Kick off Juneteenth and come together to build community in the historic Five Points neighborhood, enjoy live music and food, and dancing. The festival starts Friday night with a silent auction, raffles, live music and DJ sets so you can line dance to all the Southern Soul, Blues and R&B favorites. Festivites continue on Saturday, June 20, with a parade starting at Manual High School and ending in 5 Points, where you can catch live performances including a set from Grammy-nominated recording artist SiR, over 100 local vendors selling everything from food to local art and more, and engage with community resources.

SATURDAY
Lowry Town Center: Summer Street Pop-Up
What: This sidewalk pop-up is a perfect stop before Father’s Day to get the whole family out of the house. The event will give away a free, summer-inspired mystery gift for the first 100 families that attend. You can expect live music & entertainment, including a kids bubble zone, face painting, and a balloon and selfie station. There will also be shopping and dining options, including special sales from businesses throughout the center.

Highlands Street Fair
What: Get off your couch but not too far out of the city for music, shopping and food for a fair-like atmosphere. Shop at one of the more than 100 local artisans and bring your own reusable bag to snag everything from apparel to home goods, services, skincare, crafts and everything in between. The live music and dance performances will give you a reason to stay and enjoy yourself while you eat from one of the over 15 restaurants available.
When: 10 a.m. – 7 p.m. June 20, 2026

Edgewater Music Festival
What: A full day of music, food and community come together in Edgewater for an event that helps support affordable housing projects. The benefit supports Habitat for Humanity of Metro Denver and includes 10 live bands, lawn games, local vendors and food trucks for a full-day celebration. This year’s band lineup includes sets from The Duke Street Kings, Velvet Daydream, and Los Mocochetes.

Muddy Dash Denver Mud Run
What: If you’ve been looking for an excuse to get into running or just looking for a fun run to dip your toes into the water with, the Muddy Dash gives you the perfect event to see what the running community is all about. Get down and get filthy in more than just sweat for a 5k obstacle course-style dash, where you absolutely will get dirty, and will finish with an epic after-party. You’re either here putting your grit to the test or living your best life as an adult kid in the mud. Either way, you’re sure to have a good time. The race welcomes kids of all ages – even 30-year-old kids.

SUNDAY
Estes Park Marathon
What: Lace up your racing shoes for a marathon through one of Colorado’s most iconic towns so you can experience the beauty in ways most people will never get to. You can choose from a full marathon, half marathon or if you are a beginner runner, try out the Longs Peak 5k, and get just a dose of the running itch. All races/racers will get a finisher medal so you can gloat to your couch-surfing friends, even if you only did a 5k with no training at all.

Pikes Peak International Hill Climb
What: This motorsport event is not just for people who love cars, but for anyone who enjoys seeing man and machine pushed to their absolute limits. A race that defies fear itself with an elevation gain of 4,720 feet, and 12.42 miles of course that winds through 156 turns in a “Race to the Clouds.” You can see the drivers race to the top in person at several spectator areas, which do require tickets but allow you to take in the beauty of Pikes Peak while enjoying a race tradition unlike any other in Colorado.

Film On The Rocks: Sinners
What: You keep dancing with the Devil and one day he’s going to follow you to….Red Rocks? The iconic mythical horror film, Sinners hits the big screen, bringing vampires, blues and the juke joint atmosphere to this natural amphitheater for a movie night that will have a chill running down your spine. Make sure to bring an extra cozy blanket to snuggle up under and don’t forget your favorite movie snacks in a clear bag no larger than 13” x 15” x 8.” The movie showing also includes a pre-show performance by The Reminders for the full Red Rocks experience.

Bike to Work Day
What: Leave your car at home and bring some joy to your morning commute while getting exercise, while you’re at it. The annual event invites people to bike their usual morning commute to improve their mood, improve air quality and reduce road congestion. With resources so you can plan your route into the office, Wednesday in Denver is going to feel like one big Bike Bus, but adults instead of kids. If you’ve never heard of the joy of Bike Bus, here’s your video to watch so you can be encouraged to join in on Bike to Work Day!
