Things To Do
Five indoor soaking and swimming options at Salida Hot Springs Aquatic Center provide year-round fun and relaxation for day-soakers of all ages. The centerpiece is a large swimming pool with six 25-meter lap lanes, a diving board, and lots of room for water play. Alongside the swimming pool is a warmer soaking pool with a zero entry and fountains that make it a popular spot for the kiddos. Steps and handrails, plus an ADA chair-to-pool lift provide safe, easy access for everyone. The center also has three private soaking baths that fit two to three people each for the 18 and older crowd, and reservations are recommended. All the hot spring water in the pools and tubs is piped in from a source on the mountains west of Salida at Poncha Pass. Glass containers, alcohol, smoking, and pets are not allowed.
