Celebrate this Labor Day weekend in Colorado Springs with a mass lift-off of over seventy hot air balloons, along with breakfast and drinks from local vendors. As the hot air balloons ascend, there will be other activities such as skydiving demonstrations, wakeboarding exhibitions, paddle boarding, live entertainment, chainsaw carving, and donut eating contests.

2. A Taste of Colorado

Located in Denver, Colorado, A Taste of Colorado is a free four-day event that features six music stages, food, kid friendly activities, arts & crafts, and more! Jam out at the main stage shows, featuring artists such as Sheila E., AJR, Rick Springfield, Kongos, Five For Fighting, Lauren Duski, and 38 Special.

3. 22nd Annual Four Corners Folk Festival

If you enjoy folk music, then head on over to Pagosa Springs for the 22nd Annual Four Corners Folk Festival. This three-day event will feature a huge lineup of talented musicians, a beer garden for folks who are 21 years of age and older, plenty of food vendors, and merchandise vendors.

4. Wild West Air Festival

Join the fun in Steamboat Springs at the Steamboat Airport as they perform an air show in the mountains. This event features renowned air show performers that will keep you at the edge of your seat as you watch them do thrilling aerobatics and formation flying. Food, exhibits, vendors, and activities for the kids will be available during the event.

5. The Rocky Mountain Showdown

Cheer on your favorite team as two iconic Colorado football teams face each other in The Rocky Mountain Showdown. The game returns to the Mile High Stadium, home of the Denver Broncos on September 1st, 2017 at 6 pm. The University of Colorado Buffaloes and the Colorado State University Rams battle it out to see who is the best in the state.
