1. Puebloween
Pueblo, Colorado
Hosted by the Buell Children’s Museum, Puebloween makes its return for Saturday, October 28th. Dress up in your favorite costumes and and go trick-or-treating throughout both the Children’s Museum and Gallery buildings. Attend the kid-friendly magic show performed by Kyle Groves and Mr. E in the Magic Carpet Theater in the Buell Children’s Museum.

2. ZooBoo and BooBonus
Pueblo, Colorado

Head over to the Pueblo Zoo in your favorite costume for a unique Halloween experience. If you’re a member of the zoo, the event starts early at 10 am and you can experience BooBonus treats such as early admission, creepy crafts, animal presentations, and a free ZooBoo treat bag. Starting at 12 pm, nonmembers can join in on the fun and participate in a scavenger hunt, spooky crafts, games, animal close encounters, explorer stations, and spooky stories.

3. Elitch Gardens: Fright Fest
Denver, Colorado
Family by day, Fright by night, Elitch Gardens in Denver turns into a Fright Fest at night for anyone 12 years and older to enjoy. Enjoy the theme park in a unique way, but be on guard as creatures lurk in the dark. Explore the fully immersive haunted experience of Séance which blends in a chilling live performance and unexpected audience participation as guests are thrown into action as a simple ghost story comes to life. Be cautious and evade the ghouls and demons as they pervade the areas known as Terrortories.

4. Halloween Kids Fest
Denver, Colorado
Located at the Downtown Denver Aquarium, dress up for three days of fun on October 28th, 29th, and 31st. Enjoy festivities such as the Not-So-Haunted Train Ride, Guess the Weight of the Giant Pumpkin, Monster Mural Painting, Mad Science Experiments, Pumpkin Patch Painting, Costume Contest, Animal Shows, and Trick-or-Treating. Kids in costumes get half-price admission on October 28th and 29th, and free admission for kids who dress up on October 31st with the purchase of an adult ticket.

5. Trunk or Treat on Ridge at 38
Wheat Ridge, Colorado
Wheat Ridge brings businesses, firefighters, and the community together to create this Halloween event for all ages. Gather around as participants decorate their trunks with creative spooky designs and distribute candy to celebrate Halloween. Enjoy all the festivities, including a haunted house, carnival games, watch as zombie dancers dance to “Thriller”, a parade, and a Trunk Decorating Contest.

6. Emma Crawford Coffin Races
Manitou Springs, Colorado
Located in Manitou Springs, the Emma Crawford Coffin Race returns to the streets for the 23rd time. Watch as up to 70 teams race down Manitou Avenue with coffins to earn trophies for the fastest times, best entourage, and best coffin. Stick around as a new contest emerges for Miss Emma. 7. Boo at the Zoo
Colorado Springs, Colorado
This family-friendly event takes place at the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo in Colorado Springs on October 27th – 29th and October 31st. The Cheyenne Mountain Zoo closes at 3 pm each day in preparation and gates open up at 4 pm for those who have tickets. Dress up in your favorite Halloween costume and enjoy the festivities.

8. Candy Crawl at Fort Collins Marketplace

The Candy Crawl returns to the Fort Collins Marketplace on Sunday, October 29th from 3 pm – 5 pm. Dress up and bring the family to participate in activities such as face painting, balloon twisting, portrait stations, trick-or-treat bags, unicorn carousel, goblin train rides, and more!

Downtown Palisade businesses come together on October 27th from 3 pm to 5 pm to help bring a safe and friendly Halloween for your kids. After enjoying treats and a truck display, stick around for the Harvest Fest starting right after!
