5 Colorado Events for this Weekend, November 10 – 12
There’s a big variety of events happening in Colorado this weekend. From escaping into nature to washing down some mac and cheese with fresh brews, from celebrating the Colorado State Mammal to free sessions and lessons at Woodward at Copper Mountain, there’s no reason not to get out there this weekend.
1. Denver Mac and Cheese Beerfest
Mac & Cheese and Beer. What more could you want at a festival? Head out to the Vinyl Event Center in Denver on November 11th and get get your fill. Enjoy music from the groups Nothing But 90’s, The Solid Ocean, and Bass Punks as you enjoy brews from 23 different breweries.

2. Georgetown Bighorn Sheep Festival

Take advantage of this Colorado Parks and Wildlife event in the historic town of Georgetown for the opportunity to learn about about the Colorado state mammal, the Bighorn Sheep. Enjoy activities such as crafts, music, wildlife programs, hikes, tours, and much more.

3. Barn Bash 2017 at Woodward Copper
Join Woodward Copper in celebrating the start of the 2017-2018 winter season with the Barn Bash. Enjoy free sessions all day long including free intro sessions, drop-in sessions, and skate, bike, and scooter lessons. There will be tons of prizes, giveaways, and raffles at the Barn Bash. When you attend, you have the chance to meet snowboard pros Torstein Horgmo and Cam Fitzpatrick, a Bowl Jam Expression Session with skate pro Taylor Bingaman, the Satellite Boardshop team, and more!

4. All Colorado Beer Festival
Head out to the Norris Penrose Event Center in Colorado Springs for this year’s All Colorado Beer Festival. With around 70 breweries and cideries participating, there will be plenty of samples for you to try. Tickets are expected to sell out before the doors open, so purchase them as soon as possible!

5. National Parks Free Entry – Veteran’s Day Weekend

If you’ve ever wanted to visit a National Park in Colorado, this would be the time to do it. Head out to Rocky Mountain National Park, the Great Sand Dunes National Park and Preserve, Mesa Verde National Park, or the Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park to celebrate Veteran’s Day with an escape into nature.
