Two men were arrested in connection to a homicide in Denver’s Lowry neighborhood Tuesday morning, the Denver Police Department announced Thursday.
Savion Lewellen, 24, and Unturell Sanders, 19, were arrested for the homicide that occurred in the 500 block of Alton Way.
Lewellen is being held for investigation of manslaughter and robbery.
Sanders is being held for investigation of manslaughter, aggravated robbery, robbery, assault in the second degree, felony menacing, child abuse and obstruction of telephone or telegraph service.
Police said Tuesday the victim was an adult male. His identity has not yet been revealed.
DPD announced the death investigation at 6 a.m. Tuesday, adding that the death was being investigated as a homicide at 2 p.m. the same day.
Police have not provided details about the circumstances surrounding the homicide.
