Colorado Symphony cancels events through May

The Colorado Symphony has canceled nearly all scheduled events in Boettcher Concert Hall for the 2020-21 season, lasting until May 30, the symphony announced Thursday.

The symphony also canceled the date to purchase single tickets for the 2020-21 season, which was previously set for Dec. 31. The rescheduling is expected to be announced in late spring.

The cancellations are a result of uncertainty brought by the COVID-19 pandemic and the changing city and state restrictions, the symphony said.

In September, the symphony announced the cancellation of all concerts through Dec. 31, 2020.

“We look forward to a time when we can again perform for you live at Boettcher Concert Hall,” the announcement said. “From all of us, thank you for continuing to help us weather this storm.”

All ticket holders will be notified directly of the cancellations or reschedule dates for their events.

During the cancellation period, the symphony is providing video performances online through its new digital portal, Virtual Stage.

A complete list of updated cancellations is available at ColoradoSymphony.org.
