Investigation launched after officer-involved shooting in Castle Rock

Officials are investigating after an officer-involved shooting in Castle Rock left a suspect hospitalized, the Castle Rock Police Department announced Wednesday.
Officers responded to a reported domestic disturbance at 9:30 p.m. Tuesday in the 1500 block of Short Grass Court near Ridgeline Open Space.
Police said the shooting occurred shortly after officers arrived on the scene.

The suspect, who police said was possibly armed with a gun, was injured and taken to a hospital. No officers were hurt.
The suspect’s identity and current status are unknown.
