13-year-old girl missing in Aurora, presumed runaway
The Aurora Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a 13-year-old girl reported missing by her family.
Police said the girl, named Daphne, left her home Wednesday at 7 p.m. with a friend and never returned. She lives in the 2100 block of South Richfield Way, near Rangeview High School.
In APD’s announcement Thursday morning, they labeled Daphne as a runaway.
Daphne is 4-foot-11, around 100 pounds, wears a hearing aid and walks with a limp. She was last seen wearing blue overalls and pink, white and black hoodie.
Authorities believe Daphne is with a 14-year-old male who is approximately 6-feet tall, has short blonde hair and was last seen wearing a gray jacket, white pants and red shoes, officials from APD said Thursday evening.
Anyone with information about her whereabouts should contact police. Anyone who sees her is asked to call 911.
