Virus Outbreak Colorado

The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment opened another free COVID-19 community testing site in Westminster.

The second site is at Westminster Promendae’s Fat Cats parking lot at 10685 Westminster Blvd. It will operate daily from 8 a.m. until 6 p.m.

Free COVID-19 community testing site to open in Westminster

Although walk-in options are available, officials are encouraging people wanting to be tested to pre-register at Mako Medical’s website to expedite the process.

The site is open to anyone interested in getting tested for COVID-19 and no insurance is required.

CDPHE officials recommend people get tested for the coronavirus at least five days after suspected exposure or immediately if experiencing symptoms.

People who suspect they have been exposed to the virus should isolate while they wait for results.

Other community testing locations can be found at covidtest.colorado.gov
