Denver police officials are investigating a shooting in the Clayton neighborhood Saturday that sent one person to the hospital.

The incident occurred Saturday morning in the 3400 block of North Josephine Street, said officials from the Denver Police Department.

Officers located an adult male victim who police say was later transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Investigators are currently on the scene gathering information.
