One dog was rescued and two people were displaced after an early morning fire in Boulder on Thursday.
Boulder Fire Rescue officials said one of the residents was working on his vehicle about 3 a.m. when it caught fire and spread to the home.
Crews were dispatched to the 4300 block of Whitney Place and within the hour had extinguished the blaze.
No one was injured, but officials are urging residents to remember to “never re-enter a burning building once (you’ve) left. Firefighters will be on scene quickly and have the appropriate equipment to go in to help humans and animals.”
