One person was killed late Wednesday night in a shooting in Denver’s East Colfax neighborhood, the Denver Police Department announced.
Police said the shooting happened at a home in the 1700 block of Ulster Street, blocks from William H McNichols Park and Ashley Elementary School.
The victim, a man, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police announced the shooting just after 11 p.m. and that the victim had died at 4:30 a.m.
The events that lead to the shooting are unclear.
No arrests have been made. No suspect information is available at this time.
Anyone with information is asked to call Metro Denver Crime Stoppers at 720-913-7867. Tipsters can be anonymous and are eligible for a $2,000 reward.
